Brief

To provide advice and expertise as the print consultant in relation to the firm's rebranding project with significant input regarding the most appropriate paper and finishing process.

Alongside the marketing team - and the appointed agency - POS Group were asked to help deliver the tone and mood that the extensive design process was developed to achieve.

Finally, there was a tight delivery deadline to be achieved, and POS Group were asked to facilitate this without fail.

Proposal

POS Group initially offered a choice of two sheets as options following consideration of the photography commissioned by the client for their suite of brochures. Discussion then revolved around the finishing process and the best way to project the photography from the sheet.

To enable the client the best insight to choose what sheet and process offered the most appropriate result, POS Group produced wet proofs for the marketing team. These were supplied as part of our consultancy at no cost.

Outcome

Quality of image and tone was achieved through expert knowledge of paper stock and finishing processes. Timescales requested by POS were compromised by unforeseen circumstances, which led to an additional resource being deployed to ensure delivery for the agreed launch date.

Close management of stock levels was implemented to provide control and consistency of the brand guidelines. Open artwork was received to allow POS to make nominal changes to documents and to continue to offer cost control.
